Hey trainers!

Catch and Match Tournament Details

Here are the rules for the tournament on Friday, August 29th 2025.

1. No legendary item use. If a Pokemon considered legendary or mythical spawns naturally, you can catch it, but it is not allowed in tournament play.
2. No use of items that effect your Pokemon’s level, moves, IVs, or EVs. You may use the time allotted to level up and evolve Pokemon you caught via wild battles.
3. Limited held items.
   • You must have found the item during the catching portion.
   • You must not have changed the held item via crafting or other means.
   ,
4. No form change gimmicks. This includes megas, terastilizing, and gmaxing.
5. The tournament itself will be a round robin. Whoever has the most victories by the end wins the grand prize.
6. Your team for the tournament must consist of 3 pokemon. You may catch more than 3 in the catching portion, but you can only submit 3 as your team.
7. The grand prize is an untradable shiny Murkrow that has it’s hidden ability and the move Curse (a move only obtainable via TM in GSC) + 32,000CD.
8. All other participants will receive a dusk stone and 10,000CD upon the tournament ending.

A poll will be posted in the Discord server to decide when the tournament will be held. We might have two tournaments scheduled to accommodate different time zones with the grand prize being the same for both, but trainers can only participate in one or the other.

Chat Guidelines Update

The Chat Guidelines have been updated for clarity. Please review the exact changes in our rules channel of the Discord. The reason for the changes is to ensure our community is one where everyone is treated with respect and empathy. That’s why it’s our first rule here. I will also add that staff has a log of deleted and edited messages on the discord server.
